. Proposed procedure for teaching un- seen dictation
Since we teach dictation, not testing dictation, the procedures for giving each passage should be carried in two days.
Day one:
In the last ten minutes of the English period of day one, students should be informed of tomorrow's dictation as follows:
. List the passage productive words on the board. 
. Get students give the meaning of each word and pronounce it. 
. The students give the meaning of each word and pronounce it. 
. Get students write each word more two times at home. Encourage them to practice writing the words more times in a draft. 
. Define the students with the text in the student book from which the passage was constructed. This is to give the student the opportunity to practice other items that could be used in the dictation passage
